Synchronized...Turkeys?

About a week or so ago, a flock of turkeys was meandering across the back field.  The two toms were something--it was almost like they were doing synchronized dancing!  Rather than bore you with all twenty pictures, I thought I would give you the highlights, in the order they were taken.  If you scan through them fast, it's almost like a video!  Enjoy!

Blissful hugs,
Sharon

P.S.  I am listening to Piranha by Clive Cussler.

P.P.S.  I have updated my schedule page.  Hope to see you at a class!

What are the odds?

About ten days ago I was at a different horse barn and looked up to see this:

A bird's egg!  Why the wonder, you ask?  Because the bird laid it in a depression on the ledge of the stall door!  The doors slide, and you can just see the metal rods that comprise the top of the door just to the right and left of the egg.

Sometimes it's the simple things that just make you scratch your head.

Blissful hugs,
Sharon

P.S.  On the blog list at right, you will see a couple new additions.  Check them out!

Where Has Sharon Been?

At the barn!  I've been spending quite a bit of time at the barn, mostly grooming and hanging out with the horses.

Can you believe we actually had a chance to ride outside in March?  In t-shirts?

And this was taken just yesterday!  Yes, that's my main squeeze Pompera.  We had such a good ride--even my instructor was impressed!  I love this pic of us under the flag.

And, yes, for those with inquiring minds, I am still quilting and teaching.  I have a small piece almost quilted and ready to share.  And I am still teaching classes.

Truly blissful hugs!
Sharon

P.S.  I am listening to Breakdown by Jonathan Kellerman.
