Spring???

We have had beautiful spring weather here in Central New York for a few weeks now. I've mowed the lawn once. So imagine my surprise and dismay to find it snowing when I got up this morning. And it looks like we may get hard frost tonight. It just figures when trees are budded out and the bleeding hearts are full of blossoms. On the bright side--it can't last too long. Today was spent tidying up at home, washing my grooming tools, doing laundry and ironing, spending time with Callie and Lynnie and talking with my best friend. So a cold, blustery day was a blessing in disguise.

I am reading the last time I saw you by Elizabeth Berg, and it is wonderful. Listening to 29 Gifts--How a Month of Giving Can Change Your Life by Cami Walker. It makes you calmer just to listen and it is a fabulous concept.

Off to do a few more things before bed. But wanted you to know I was thinking of you.

Hugs,
Sharon

  1. Hi Sharon, Yeah, that snow was not a pretty sight! But, as you said, it can't last long. Hugs to you too, Jay

  2. Oh what pretty flowers--always enjoy your photos---I can not believe you are reading---no---she is listening to the book on tape--of the 29 days of gifts--I just "read" that book a week or so ago---really enjoyed it--Cami's illness and mine are somewhat related--so I could really feel for her!!!
I have a new design over on my post tonight!!!
    Hugs, Diane
