It must truly be spring--I had one snowdrop blossom--and I heard the peepers for the first time today! The common belief is that the peepers must be frozen off three times for it to be truly spring--but it's been a long winter and I'm grabbing any peepers I can! Oh, and I killed the first mosquito today (in the house). And...the groundhogs are out! (I heard that, Diane!)

My featherweight has been humming while making more samples for the Big Three classes. For those of you who don't know about them, we make 15-inch finished blocks with the emphasis on three things--accurate cutting, accurate piecing, accurate pressing. Get it? The Big 3? These are real skill-builder classes--no gimmicks, no special rulers, no oversizing/recutting of blocks.
And I've been hand piecing a series of blocks to be used over the summer. I say these things so that you know I am not just sleeping over here.
