Stormy Weather

Sunset on Friday brought stormy skies and snow-laden trees. The sky had almost a purplish cast.

A good day to be inside and quilt. Although any day is a good day to quilt! I try to always remember my good friend Anita Shackelford's quilter's blessing: "May you thread your needle every day." Even a few stitches on a project make you that much closer to finishing. And it's not like the dishes and laundry and cleaning--no matter how well you do them, you will have to do them again...and again...and again.... You get the idea. So enjoy some time stitching every day--you're worth it!

Sweet dreams to those who are reading this during the wee hours of Saturday morning, and good morning to those of you who are reading it later on Saturday!

  3. Hi Sharon,

I love the blog. I also wanted to mention how much I enjoyed the binding class. I always come back refreshed and ready to quilt after one of your classes.

Do you ever have a class on the thimble quilt? Too cute.
