I Won!!!!

On Thursday, June 21, SharonStanleyWrites.blogspot.com had a give-away.  You only had to leave a comment on how you used old mason jars, and there would be a drawing on Sunday night.  I love Sharon's blog (she used to be Farm and Fru Fru) and I posted a comment and then went about my business.  Until Sunday night, when I got an email saying that I had won!!!!  Olive (her dog) and Sharon decided that there was really no reason to draw because I was the only one who commented!  Did I say I won?

Today the package arrived!  I raced out when the postman blew his horn (signaling a box bigger than my mailbox will hold) and was so excited to find this rather large box.  I carefully slit it open to reveal--

I carefully removed the tissue to reveal--

I read the card and slit the smaller box open to reveal--

Inside the industrial strength bubble wrap was this delightful jar.  Complete with pink (!) paper crinkles and

Sharon Stanley's business cards!  Can you tell I am just thrilled?  Did I mention I won?  This is the first time I have won a blog give-away!  So for those of you who lurk and don't post comments, you missed out!

Please take a look at Sharon's blog.  You can link from the top of this post or her blog is always listed on my blog list (right side of my blog).  She's been having some great interviews with authors and her post entitled Good-bye Jubel (www.sharonstanleywrites.blogspot.com/2012/06/good-bye-jubel-626/html) announces that I won and also tells about her miniature donkey Jubel.  You know I don't mind sharing billing with an equine friend.  Check her out--tell her I sent you!

Blissful hugs,
Sharon

P.S.  I won!!!!!

  3. YAY for you! So glad the package arrived safely...can you tell I was nervous about it? Fill that jar with fun stuff and then tell me what you put in it...the possibilities are endless...yarn, scraps of fabric, thread, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!
